Currently there is no information related about Honkai Star Rail release date, but for the “Closed Beta Final” program already opens on January 24, 2023 at 10:00 (UTC+8). Mihoyo, who has never heard of the name miHoYo, most of you must have heard and even know this company for sure. Mihoyo, or more correctly miHoYo Co., Ltd. is a Chinese company that located in Shanghai. It creates animations and develops video games, and is one of Tencent's rivals. The company was established in 2012 by a group of students from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. The origin of the name miHoYo itself is taken from the names of the three founders. As of 2022, the company had a workforce of more than 4,000 employees.

Mihoyo has released their first game at 2011 by title FlyMe2theMoon. Then a year later, in 2012 they also released a game called Zombiegal Kawaii. some of their popular games still exist and can be downloaded on the Google Play Store, such as Houkai Gakuen 2 or Guns Girl Z that released at 2014, Honkai Impact 3 that released at 2016, Tears of Themis and Genshin Impact that both released at 2020.

Genshin Impact, is one of the reasons why the name miHoYo is increasingly known by many people. The game that officially released at September 28th, 2020 is highly popular among many individuals. This game offers a huge world to explore, brain-teasing puzzles and riddles, charming characters with famous voice actors/actress, interesting storyline, fun combat mechanics and much more. One of the advantages of this game is cross platform, so players can play on any platform such as mobile devices (both iOS and android), Personal Computers, even on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles.

The company which changed its name to Hoyoverse (for regions outside of China) since February 15, 2022, has also announced 2 of their new games, namely Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero. Both of Honkai: Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero release date is still To Be Announced (TBA) or still unknown. Many players are really looking forward to the presence of these two games because of its gameplay and stunning graphics. For the gameplay, Honkai: Star Rail is an open world game so you can go around as you please, and has turn-based 3D combat. Apart from charming new characters, Honkai: Star Rail also has several characters from the previous Honkai series, such as Welt Yang, Bronya Zaychik, Seele Vollerei, Murata Himeko, Kafka, Otto, Natasha, and Sushang.

Pom-pom, the mascot of Honkai: Star Rail announced that there is a Final Closed Beta Test program whose registration opens on January 24, 2023 at 10:00 (UTC+8) via their official account at Facebook, Twitter, and HoYoLAB. If you've ever played other games made by Hoyoverse, you must already have an account.
Tap the “Register” button on the middle of the screen,
Select the platform that you want between PC/iOS/Android (you can choose more than 1 here)
Type your email,
Click on get to obtain verification code,
Open your email and copy the verification code,
Paste your code to the field provided,
Click on Submit.
Done

There will be a pop-up alert if your registration successful. If you are selected as a member of “Closed Beta Final”, then you will be able to play the game on February 10, 2023 at 10:00 (UTC+8). The download link of the game will be sent via email before that date.
